Access professional static industrial machines by the minute — no need to buy, lease, maintain or house expensive machinery. Materials can be delivered directly to our facility.

How it works
- When you are ready to begin, see staff for a numbered tag which grants workshop access
- From the moment your tag is activated until it is returned, Facility Time is charged
- Some machine charges apply only while the machine is tagged on and running
- Staff can explain further and demonstrate how each machine works
- One-on-one instruction is available for those learning to use industrial machines — booking essential
Booking
- Bookings are essential — please phone or email before visiting
- Other customers often run on tight schedules — please be punctual
- Late arrivals or other bookings may require rescheduling
- Operator lead times may vary — book ahead where possible
Closed days
We are closed every Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Highlighted dates show additional closures. Always call to confirm before travelling.
Facility Time
From the moment your tag is activated until it is returned, you are charged Facility Time. This covers your time in the facility. Panelsaw use is included in the FTP rate.
Tag activation: $11.00 per session (once per visit)

Hourly rates for machines not covered by Facility Time.

CNC Router
Pricing based on routing length and bore holes.
$1.60 + GST per lineal metre for 16mm panels. Proportional for other thicknesses — e.g. 25mm panel = $2.50/lm.
$1.60 + GST per 35mm hole. Proportional for other diameters.
CNC pricing is available via cabinetmaker.com.au for registered customers.
Edgebander
Metres are measured by the machine and include wastage. Panels must be straight and cut to finished size. Minimum panel length 100mm, board thickness 12–32mm.

Safety & conditions
Obey staff instructions — if unsure, ask. Advise staff if anything does not appear as you think it should. Be safety conscious for yourself and others. Leave machinery and the working environment safe for the next person. Remember that while machining, the smaller the piece, the greater the chance of personal injury or damage. Use push sticks and position guards for maximum safety. Be aware of the danger of moving blades, cutters and drills. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear — no thongs or loose clothing.
All incoming materials are checked by staff — no asbestos, heavy metals, fibreglass, bamboo or dangerous goods. Appropriate behaviour for a workshop is required. Persons who appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not welcome. People under the age of 15 are not permitted in the workshop by law. Your material on the premises is at your risk.
All damage and breakages must be paid for. We endeavour to give fair notice but some prices are subject to change without notice. The management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or to request any person to vacate the premises. Management's decision is final.
