General information

Here is a workshop where you are welcome to use the equipment to saw, plane, thickness, sand, shape and mould. We have panel saws, an edge bander, a hinge drill, planers, thicknessers, bandsaws, sanders, a spindle moulder, an overhead router and more available to hire. The machine usage is calculated by the minute. Our aim is to maintain machines to an accuracy of ±1 mm. You are welcome to come in to see what you can do but please phone to book time on the machines.

We stock a wide range of board products including MDF, particle board and plywood with access to a huge range of melamine, veneered board and laminates in various sizes, colours, finishes and species. We stock cabinet timbers including Radiata and Hoop Pine, Silky and Tasmanian Oak, NG Rosewood, Kwila and Red Cedar.

Tuition

We offer you the use of industrial woodworking machines, and the opportunity to learn to use them easily through one on one tuition designed to suit even absolute beginners.
